Area Checklist

Please ensure you check every item from passing to unknown status

Accuracy is important. The result of your report will be used to automagicaly generate warnings, notifications, tweets and maintenance requests

Use PASS when the current status you can observe, "reasonably meets", the expectation of the description of the line item

Use WARN when current status you can observe, does not meet, the reasonable expectation of the description of the line item. WARN is applicable to presumed missing, and presumed broken. Upgrade from WARN to FAIL if the line item is:

  • Known missing
  • Known broken
  • Is a evident hazard
  • Major inconvenience
  • Challenges any reasonable expectation of service
  • Barrier to service.

Use FAIL when the current status you can observe, does not meet, the description of the line item, or is known missing, known broken or is an evident hazard

Use UNKNOWN when you don't have the ability, time or inclination to check, or if there is confusion, of if it is not applicable/cannot be ascertained. Too many submissions of unknowns will trigger an investigation, into why. So please make the effort to complete the checklist
